About Me

As a freelance journalist I’ve been producing professional and creative copy for over ten years for a variety of print and web publications, including www.thescotsman.com, www.journalism.co.uk, The List, Edinburgh Evening News & The Skinny Magazine.

Working within Government Communications since 2007 I’ve developed a wide range of PR, marketing and project management skills as well as an in-depth knowledge of the Scottish public sector.

And as a passionate blogger since 2005 I’ve demonstrated a natural flair for spotting online trends, producing innovative multimedia content and building an online presence through social media.

My videos and podcasts have been featured in a variety of places including www.theskinny.com, www.fencerecords.com and Just Another iPhone Blog, and I've appeared on BBC Scotland and BBC 6Music.
